While Guru Maa was visiting India, She was taken to a cow sanctuary unlike any other. The owner, Satvir, has devoted his life to caring for cows that were once forgotten. He roams the streets, finding those who were abandoned when they could no longer give milk or serve a purpose. Left to fend for themselves, injured, starving, and unseen. Satvir felt the call to care for them.

Guru Maa teaches us the energetic significance of cows. They hold a sacred role in the balance of this world. They are a physical embodiment of the Divine through their selfless giving. Every part of their being exists to support others.

This is why, in India, cows are honored and revered with such devotion. Their presence carries a profound spiritual importance. Satvir shared with Guru Maa that his cows carry a deeply healing energy, and he insisted She come to the cow shala to experience it. To our amazement, as Guru Maa spent time simply petting the cows, Her blood pressure began to lower. From that moment forward, Divine Bliss began supporting this cow shala, offering food for the cows during each full moon ceremony.

Each year, during the month of April, hay is available at the lowest price. After April 30, the cost nearly doubles. This means that what we gather now can provide twice the nourishment for these cows in the months ahead. There are now over 200 cows being cared for daily. Each one once abandoned. Each one now held in safety, receiving consistent care, because someone chose to step forward.
